The extensive range in the ‘Home, Kitchen, Care & Hygiene’ section spans from practical household and kitchen aids such as baking and sandwich paper, freezer bags, aluminium foil and cling film, bin liners, and cleaning and hygiene products, through to professional kitchen utensils such as straining and filtering cloths, cut-resistant gloves and plasters, to medical products such as disposable gloves, as well as hygiene and general personal protective equipment.
Hygiene management and food safety are ongoing concerns in the catering industry. HACCP stands for ‘Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points’ and refers to the analysis of hazards and control of critical points – at every stage of the preparation, processing, production, packaging, storage, transport, distribution, handling and sale of food.
