Whether for professionals or end consumers, the ROYAL Collection is produced exclusively from absorbent material certified by the Forest Stewardship Council®. This means that only tissue grades are used whose primary fibers come from forests managed in an environmentally and socially responsible manner and other controlled sources.
The napkins are soft against the skin and, in appearance, virtually indistinguishable from a woven cloth napkin.

Products from PAPSTAR’s premium ROYAL Collection range bear both the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, an international eco-label originating in Scandinavia (Sweden) that certifies the best environmental performance throughout the entire supply chain – from the extraction of raw materials through the manufacturing process to the disposal of waste – as well as – with a few exceptions – the Keimling label in accordance with DIN EN 13432, confirming the industrial compostability of the materials used. DIN stands for the German Institute for Standardisation, EN for European Standard.

A key requirement for the production of the DAILY Collection is an absorbent material that is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council® and is therefore recyclable. The napkins, made from virgin fibres of the highest tissue quality, impress with their stylish, understated look, a pleasantly soft feel and optimised foldability.

Certified standards
The Forest Stewardship Council® has defined globally consistent core principles for responsible forest management. The product chain certification mark, issued by TÜV Süd Czech for the scope of “trade in products across a total of three product groups”, indicates that the raw materials (pulp, tissue, etc.) used in the respective product originate from responsibly managed forests. To ensure this, the proven instrument of product chain certification is used. Traceability is guaranteed by a verification number.
Tear-resistant & water-repellent
The products from the soft selection and soft selection+ ranges embody the best functionality of modern non-woven materials. Their colours are precisely matched to the items in the ROYAL Collection and boast brilliant colour intensity.
Further features of soft selection and soft selection+: tear-resistant, water-repellent or waterproof (+) and therefore wipeable. Tablecloths, table runners, centrepieces and placemats from both ranges are hard-wearing, do not warp when wet, are as soft as fabric and are 100% recyclable.

Certified candles
PAPSTAR offers an extensive range of candles. Due to production or functional requirements, some candles may contain palm oil, though this is sourced from RSPO-certified suppliers.
The abbreviation stands for ‘Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil’, an organisation founded on the initiative of the environmental organisation WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) to promote sustainable cultivation methods for palm oil. In addition to environmental protection organisations, its members primarily comprise companies from the value chain, including plantation operators, traders and industrial buyers of palm oil.
