The conveniently located PAPSTAR central warehouse on the 130,000 square meter company premises in D-53925 Kall (North Rhine-Westphalia, Eifel) has space for 70,000 pallets and 100,000 cartons.

The ecological challenges of our time are extensive: PAPSTAR sets a good example and accompanies the entire life cycle of its products. The company no longer sees itself “only” as a distributor of disposable products made from renewable raw materials that are valuable from a hygiene and safety perspective, but also takes care of material recycling after use.
The range comprises over 5,000 consumer goods from more than 200 production facilities (including three within the company's own group), covering the categories of disposable tableware and service packaging, table top and room decoration, as well as products for household, kitchen, care, and hygiene.
Europe-wide logistics and service concepts ensure the permanent availability of the entire product range.

Recycling loops
According to studies (Ramboll: Life cycle assessment "Disposable vs. reusable"), single-use packaging can perform better than reusable solutions in many areas. It is essential that products made from renewable raw materials are used.
PAPSTAR Solutions GmbH, for example, has developed the overall concept "Zero Waste - Pure Pleasure" for catering tableware and cutlery at events, with the service components of consulting, goods, circular economy and recycling, and communication.

Algae and seaweed are among the fastest-growing renewable raw materials. As a grease-resistant coating, they are a natural addition to Notpla's (= not plastic) recyclable fresh fiber cardboard snack trays.
